Chongqing
Chongqing is one of the world’s biggest and arguably most futuristic looking cities.
It is also known as the ‘Mountain City’ surrounded by abundant forest terrain that can be explored at the weekends when not out and enjoying what the city offers in terms of entertainment, cuisine, shopping or cultural activities. You can take a Yangtze River Cruise from Chongqing as your base and explore the Three Gorges from here also. The city is a favourite of many expat teachers.
