Communication is at the very core of Teachola. We aim to maintain regular contact with our teachers from the very start of their application right through to the end of their teaching contracts.

We also ensure regular communication with our partner schools through weekly management meetings and regular school campus visits. Our teachers always tell us how they appreciate our supportive approach when managing their job application process. We are always looking to innovate and improve and Teachola is a result of that.

Under our previous name, Teachers For Asia, we gathered a lot of feedback over the years on our teachers’ life experiences during their time in Asia; both the good and the bad. This has helped us develop and present our new upgraded service for our teachers and schools.

From one small island to another, Rebecca, originally from Ireland, now lives in Taiwan. After studying International Business and Chinese in university, a love of different cultures and travelling grew for Rebecca. Having spent 3 years in China between studying and working, travelling quickly became one of Rebecca’s biggest passions and she now uses Taiwan’s ‘heart of Asia’ location to pursue this passion. From completing a TEFL course and teaching ESL for 3 years in both Beijing and Taipei, while also being able to travel the world, Rebecca hopes to encourage others with a similar interest in travelling and experiencing different cultures, to start their own ESL journey too.

Most of the team here at Teachola have lived and taught in Asia previously and we all know at first hand what an amazing experience it can be. Each of us have come away from the experience as stronger people, with more of an insight into who we are as people, but also a greater understanding about this fascinating part of the world. We did it and we loved it!

As a result, we are also aware of the stresses you can sometimes experience in daily life as an expat in Asia. Most of these are small, but they can build up over time. Teachola is here to provide solutions to minimise these stress points for expat teachers and to ensure that your experience in Asia is as enjoyable as possible. Simply put, our goal is to support the expat teacher community across Asia. Welcome to Teachola!

Teachola Mission

Our mission is simple: to support the expat teacher community throughout Asia by providing the widest selection of quality guaranteed teaching jobs. Combine this with our focus on supporting Asian-based expat communities and helping teachers further upskill and improve their career prospects.
